Does Academy Sports ship guns to FFL? ›

Academy Sports + Outdoors does not ship to Alaska, California, or Hawaii.

Firearms: With the exception of brands sold exclusively by Academy, all firearm sales are final, and customers must return any damaged or defective firearm to the manufacturer for warranty repair or claims.

3-Day Wait (State of Florida):

The 3-day wait starts the business day following evidence of purchase (payment of transfer fee), the transfer of money or other valuable consideration to Florida FFL. This is a requirement as per Florida State Statues.

Yes. All items you need to return must be resaleable (no material or visible wear or usage) in their original packaging (including all original paperwork, parts, and accessories) — except defective products, damaged in transit, or have a valid performance issue.

Merchandise purchased online can be returned via FedEx or at your local Academy Sports + Outdoors store. You may obtain a copy of your receipt in your Academy.com account under your 'Purchase Details'. Bulk items cannot be returned online.
