Prince Harry has reportedly sparked major fears in Buckingham Palace that he may release a second tell-all memoir. Palace aides are said to fear the Duke of Sussex may launch a new blistering attack on the Firm in the wake of his bitter High Court battle to win back taxpayer-funded UK security.
Following his two-day visit to the UK earlier this week, Harry sensationally claimed that his UK security had been downgraded to "trap" him into staying in the Royal Family. Last night, as reported by The Sun, a source said: "This is clearly intensely personal. There are fears about what he might do if the decision goes against him. This could not come at a worse time." Speaking to a UK publication for the first time since 2023, Harry said in an interview: "People would be shocked by what’s being held back."
Insiders have now argued Harry's recent explosive remark could be seen as a "veiled threat". A source added: “There’s a lot of worry that Harry could tell all in a book deal or even follow Meghan’s lead and make a podcast. He’s hinted he has discovered secrets during the hearings — particularly regarding the treatment of him and Meghan — that would shock us all. It is a veiled threat essentially that he will tell all if it doesn’t go the way he wants it to."

Harry: 'People would be shocked'
A two-day hearing this week sat partly in private to hear confidential evidence as the duke challenges the dismissal of his High Court claim against the Home Office over the decision of the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures that he should receive a different degree of protection when in the UK.
The Telegraph reported Harry was unhappy with what he heard.
Speaking to the newspaper as he left the Royal Courts of Justice, he said “people would be shocked by what’s being held back,” adding that his “worst fears have been confirmed by the whole legal disclosure in this case and that’s really sad”.

Composer on new music for King and Queen
Before entering the church today, the King and Queen were given a hand-written manuscript of a new piece of music, called The Weather of My Being, by its composer Professor Paul Mealor.
Professor Mealor, who has created music for a number of royal events including Prince and Princess of Wales’s wedding and several of Charles’s birthdays, also gave the the Royal couple a volume containing all the music he composed for their coronation in 2023.
The composer said he decided to mark Charles and Camilla’s anniversary by “set(ting) great poetry to music”, which he said combined the King’s love of music with the Queen’s love of literature.
He added: “So I wrote it, and then sent it to them, and then they said, ‘why not perform it now, just literally after the wedding anniversary?’
“So we had the premiere today at the service, which was very powerful”.
