For Shadow Knights in Classic we’ll want to prioritize AC, then HP/Stamina, then Mana/Intellect. We should also pick up Agility, Strength, and Dexterity where we can. We’ll also want a haste item and a bow. Depending on the gear you choose, Shadow Knights may have a bit less HP than the other tanks in Classic, but have exceptional AC options.

Shadow Knights are a durable tank class. This Warrior/Necromancer hybrid has vampiric and damage-over-time spells. Shadow Knights have the unique ability to Harm Touch (do direct damage) every 72 minutes, the power of which increases in absolute terms but decreases relative to enemies' hit points as a player levels up. Shadow-knights are the masters of aggro management, they get plenty of Hate generation AAs and spells, be it AoE or single target. They're almost as good as Warrior for most Tanking purposes; however, they lack the Warrior disciplines for the strongest bosses. It's the easiest tank to use, due to the amount of aggro they generate. NOTE: This guide from Devoure is not as extensive and detailed as the Paladin guide. If anyone out there would like to put in the work and "mirror" (of sorts) the Paladin's guide, please do so.
