Define it :) *what needs to send to cloud Solution *when - Realtime / Batch / Event / Scheduled *how - api , files , xml , json's , and most important * what if - something fails , is it source or target to responsible to ensure data is moveddon't forget to note down security requirement and constraints.Hybrid integration is the pattern , Design for Change which come from simplicity :)

Planning in Integration is mostly driven by constraint of end system - When they are ready, Do they have data, Do they do they have defined specs , there go-live and availability plans .Do ensure on day one get buy-in on dates from all end applications and check frequently if they are on track :)Have a good testing plan in place specially "integration testing" as unit testing will always work :)

Monitoring Progress Pre-Golive , since all eyes are on projects , its get done.Post-go live is to take care *Ensure all your integration, orchestration, api's , flows you can Monitoring & Observe to smallest level of of data that is moving in and out.Remember , Things are bound to fail for reasons not in your control , may be wrong data data, or new scenarios uncovered, end system changed overnight without informing , credentials expired and more ...Clear visibility enables to take corrective action without panic. There is always one Golden statement "We have send , no issues at our end , our logs says fine - ITS INTEGRATION issue " :)
